Poem 25, day 25: The Snowshower

The Snowshower

The sun shone,

Cast light upon snowfall

Sprinkled like powder that

Gathered at the roadside,

In patches on grass

That shook in the wind.

The snow was never expected;

A reminder of change

Even though the drive to work,

The slow queue at the roundabout,

Yesterday, tomorrow,

For now remains the same.
